Taken at the Classic Fighters Airshow. April 14, 2001. After the incident - Gene de Marco bring the Camel safetly back to terra firma after the cowling had come off. Part of the cowling can be seen caught in the flying wires to port, and the remaining Vickers gun barrel stands straight up above the now exposed Gnome rotary engine. (Note the 'period' crash crew in the background).
