DC-3 / C-47 Dakota

ZK-DAK (as a WWII period RNZAF C-47)

oops

Taken at Matamata, January, 1991. The camoflauge doesn't quite match the conditions - the short grass was quite badly burnt by the January sun. This is the only time I've seen the side windows open on DAK - how many of today's airliners can do this? Note the workers in the shade underneath the aircraft.
