oops

Taken at the RNZAF museum, Christchurch. 24 August, 1993. The atrium displays four aircraft - a Bleriot replica, a DH82a Tiger Moth, a DH100 Vampire, and an A4K Skyhawk descending from the ceiling to the floor - showing the range of military aircraft operated in New Zealand.

In the background can be seen the memorial alcove, created by Rena Jarosewitsch in conjunction with the Air Force's Official Artist W/Comm Maurice Conly. Below the window's is a verse from Stephen Spender's Ode to Great Men. The badges of all the RNZAF units are displayed on either side of the alcove.

To the right of the alcove can be seen the entrance to the Aviation History Hall.
