Taken at Whenuapai, March 17, 2001. Cockpit exterior from starboard looking aft. Note the aluminium tape around the canopy. As the cockpit seals are designed to work best when pressurised from inside, they relax on the ground, and can leak under heavy rain. The aircraft was away from home and no hangar space was available, so the tape was used as a precaution. The orange items are HUD covers.
