BAC 167 Mk88 Strikemaster

Component

oops

Taken at RNZAF Base Woodbourne, April 19, 2000. A port wing mounted in a jig. This was one of the wings replaced due to fatigue cracking during the 1980s. The circles on the wings are alloy '100mph' tape covering 12.7mm (1/2") holes. These were bored to allow borescope inspections of the wing structures. Note the undercarriage doors in the closed position.
