Taken at Ardmore 5 July, 1998. In the latter phases of restoration, '53' was displayed with cowls and other panels removed, allowing a good look at the aircraft's internals. This is the starboard side of the cockpit looking to port. I have aligned the picture with the fuselage - which is why the Catalina in the background is on such a strange angle.
