Taken at Paraparaumu, 1995. This aircraft was under lease by Classic Air at the time I made the image. I particularly like this study as the aircraft looked quite spectacular in its burgundy and white livery. The company was flying tourist flights from Paraparaumu. Subsequently the aircraft returned to Wanaka, and the last report I saw placed the aircraft at Ardmore. The aircraft has had a varied history, having been operated by the RNZAF, National Airways Corporation (NAC), Feildair, and several other private operators.
