Taken at the Museum of Transport and Technology, 29 August, 1996. This aircraft in the image is a composite, consisting of fuselage components from NZ3039 and several other aircraft, and the wings from a P40N-5. The restoration was carried out by Pacific Aircraft Ltd. This aircraft has replaced the previously displayed NZ3009, which is under restoration to flying condition
